This is the traditional dessert wine of Valpolicella. It is produced with old Verona grapes selected on the hills and vinified after being dried for 3 months on special rush mattimgs. The moderate aging in barrels with frequent decanting gives the wine a natural stability and an excellent balance between sugar and alcohol
