| Since 1979 he has been a professional sommelier and since 1975 he has been a member of A.I.S.He began to work in Jesolo a seaside resort near Venice and in a few years he became Metre and could work at Las Vegas Hotel one of the most famous in Jesolo.After managing a restaurant (Florida) in Jesolo, he decided to move to Friuli where he wanted to begin with a new business in Piancavallo. There, since 1971 he has owned the successful restaurant "Al Portico".
Just in 1971 he began attending sommelier schools and in 1979 he became a professional Sommelier. From 1985 to 1995 he taught enology in a very important hotel school in Aviano. In 1988 he received the special "Nobile del Vino friulano" price that acknowledges sommeliers all over the world. In 1990 he took part to a master on sparkling wines in San Michele all'Adige (TN) and in 1994 he took part to another master about teaching enology in Milan. With his brother Sergio he has organized various symposia and meetings on wine like "I Tocai del mondo" " I Merlot del mondo" and "I Cabernet del mondo". In all these years he has got in touch with many high quality wine producers. Thanks to his long experience he can suggest great wines to all those who appreciate new and excellent products. |

| Since 1975 he has been a member of A.I.S. and since 1987 a professional Sommelier. He has taught in a very important school for hotel management in Aviano (PN) and since 1970 he has managed a successful restaurant.In 1990 he took part to a master on Sparkling wines in San Michele all'Adige. In 1997 he was one of the finalists of a master about Porto wine, which took place in Turin.
From 1987 to 1990 he was a member of A.I.S. of Pordenone and he organized various wine-tasting like for example "I Cabernet del mondo" and "I Novelli della provincia di Pordenone", which is still proposed by the Chamber of Commerce. Besides, he organized "I Sauvignon del mondo" in 1990 and "I Tocai del mondo" in 2000. He was a member in the committee for the tasting of the D.O.C. Grave del Friuli and Lison di Pramaggiore wines. Moreover he represented The Chamber of Commerce of Pordenone internationally (Strasbourg, Paris, Coln, Bonn and Munich) from 1986 to 1990. |
